At this year's New York Auto Show, we learned not just about the rough shape of the tenth generation Honda Civic, but also that the beasting Type R hot hatch will also be joining the fold. While the timeline for its American introduction is a mystery as of yet, we imagine it won't be that different than the Euro-spec model recently reviewed by XCar.
The first drive report, put out in the last few days, talks a lot about the handling character, looks, and features of the Civic Type R. According to video, the car more than lives up to its reputation as a hot hatch, proffing the most potent power numbers in the business. When discussing its driving dynamics, the reviewer describes it as "positively mental."
